9-19-17 Destiny 2 Weekly Reset

Let’s get week 3 started off right!

How are we going to do that? Well, we’ve got the raid being reset.  That’s always nice.  That means it’s time to go back and try to get more loot!  Right?  Yes, that’s right.  We’re also going to get those nifty clan reward engrams and our Milestones engrams!  Awesome!

Nothing new this week that I know of.  Next week, however, there will be something new.  Faction Rally!  Whatever that is.  Guess we’ll find out soon enough!

Target:  Exodus Crash, Nessus..

  • Prism – Think elemental burns but on a rotating timer.
  • Attrition – Health and shield regen are greatly impaired.  Enemies have a chance to drop a well of light which can heal you and charge your super.
  • Timewarp: Anomalies – Anomalies need to be destroyed to add more time to your timer.

  • Complete the Nightfall with more than 5 minutes remaining
  • Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths
  • As a Fireteam, defeat 9 shanks with Melee before defeating Thaviks

The Flahspoint is the only one that is likely to change from week to week, but these are things that you can do in game in order to acquire “Powerful Gear.”  These Legendary Engrams will decrypt higher than your power level.

Flashpoint: Titan – Complete public events on Titan.  Don’t forget to grab those Treasure Maps from Cayde since you’ll be on Titan for this anyway.  Take your time getting these chests.  There is an anti-farming mechanic which can cause you to not get anything at all from chests and materials pods.  This is a small patrol area, so it’ll be really easy to hit that and not get anything from Cayde’s stashes.  It just happened to me in my rush to get that done!

Nightfall:  Complete the weekly Nightfall Strike

Call to Arms:  Win glory by participating in Crucible matches.

Raid:  Complete the raid

Trials of the Nine:  Win a Trials of the Nine match for Spire Access.

Clan XP:  Earn Clan XP in strikes, raids, the Crucible, or world activities.

First Raid Encounter

Well, this is interesting.  The first encounter for the raid last week was the Baths.  I saw some reports that it wasn’t the case this week so I  just flew in the check.  It’s true.  The first encounter of the Raid has changed this week.  Now I’m wondering what else might have changed?  This could be more fun that I thought!  Right, right.  Here, this is the first encounter that you’ll have to beat:

The Pleasure Gardens

Um.  Have fun!  I suppose that you could read here and see what we did to get past it.  It made it so much easier for us.

Xur, of course, will return on Friday.  We’ll see if he has anything worth picking up this week.  Trials will also return on Friday.
